During my childhood, my family moved often. We finally settled on the Peninsula where I attended and graduated from South Kitsap High School. During high school, I was introduced to chiropractic through my neighbor, Dr. Jones, who became a life-long friend and mentor. During college, I was involved in a rollover car accident and my injuries resulted in chronic neck pain, headaches and sciatic pain. Through the healing power of chiropractic, my symptoms were resolved. These personal experiences set me on the path to earning my degree in chiropractic medicine. Thanks to my mentor and personal experiences with the healing power of chiropractic, I have been given the opportunity to share chiropractic and wellness health care with a community that I am proud to call home.
Luther was born and raised in San Jose, California. After high school, he joined the military, and was eventually transferred to Washington State. Of course, he decided to stay in the Evergreen State after his honorable discharge in 2002. Luther’s experience with bodywork started more than eight years ago when he was introduced to Reiki and energy healing. After his service in the military, he sought a new career path helping as many people as he could. And so he began his formal study of massage at the Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle, WAWhile in massage school, he excelled in treatment work. Utilizing techniques such as neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue, and muscle energy technique, Luther successfully treated such complex injuries as whiplash, lower back trauma, and frozen shoulder syndrome. Along with formal massage training, he has also been certified in Thai massage and is a Reiki Master. Recently, Luther has become a certified Matrix Energetics Practitioner. Currently, Luther is studying at TCC to get his prerequisite classes for getting into chiropractic school.
